BIOGRAPHY

SNGHS

SNGHS is a Swiss–British producer and songwriter whose work explores the intersection of emotion, texture and rhythm.

Originally trained in classical music at the Geneva Conservatory, he developed a strong foundation in composition before moving into electronic production.

His early influences include the UK’s 90s trip-hop movement as well as the golden era of 90s hip-hop, both from the United States and France. Inspired by artists such as Massive Attack and Portishead, and shaped by the sample-driven culture of hip-hop, he began creating atmospheric productions built around warm beats, melancholic melodies and cinematic sound design.

Over time, SNGHS gradually moved toward a more energetic electronic direction, blending these atmospheric roots with the power and precision of modern club production.

SNGHS –  GNR

A meeting in London with a mysterious female singer would eventually mark a turning point. Their collaboration gave birth to a new project: SNGHS x GNR.

Through this project, SNGHS reimagines the music of Guns N’ Roses through the lens of French electronic music. Iconic rock songs are transformed into dark, hypnotic electronic interpretations driven by punchy compressed drums, deep basslines and elegant synthesizers.

At the heart of the project is the singer’s masked presence, a haunting and melancholic voice that adds emotional depth and mystery to SNGHS’s cinematic electronic sound.
